The third generation Sienta was launched in Japan on 23 August 2022, and the Sienta was launched in Singapore on 6 October 2022. In Indonesia the Sienta was pulled from the market in early 2023, with the company choosing to focus on the strong selling Avanza and Veloz. It followed the second generation XP170 that had debuted in 2015 and was facelifted in 2018 and 2019, and it kept the mini MPV format with sliding doors.
