Toyota Highlander (third generation, XU50)

Automobiles

Toyota unveiled the third generation XU50 at the New York show on 27 March 2013, and it reached dealerships in early 2014. It was longer and wider than before and gave up its boxy look for the styling of other mid size crossovers, with seating for eight, a sliding second row and lane departure and pre collision warning systems. It was approved as a New York City taxicab, and a refreshed 2017 model with an updated fascia appeared at New York in March 2016.
