The Toyota Duet is the Toyota-badged version of the Daihatsu Storia, a subcompact car and supermini that the Japanese automaker Daihatsu produced between 1998 and 2005 and that effectively replaced the similarly sized Charade. Toyota sold it as the Duet in Japan, and outside Japan it was called the Sirion. The 1998 Storia and Duet came with two petrol engines with multi-point fuel injection, a 989 cc three-cylinder engine of 44 kilowatts and a 1.3 litre four-cylinder unit of 64 kilowatts that arrived in 2000. It was released in Australia in March 2002.
