Scion xA

Automobiles

The Scion xA is a five-door subcompact hatchback that Toyota sold in the United States from 2004 to 2006 under its Scion marque, as an export model of the Japanese domestic market Toyota Ist. It was based on the first generation Toyota Vitz hatchback and shared its platform with the Toyota Platz sedan. It was one of the two launch models of Scion beside the xB. The xA had a minor facelift for the 2006 model year, importation ended in December 2006, and Scion announced two new models for the spring of 2007 to replace the xA and the xB, the xD and the second generation xB. Scion also made limited edition xA and xB cars in small numbers with exclusive accessory packages, starting with the Release Series 1.0 in 2004.
