Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit

Automobiles

The Silver Spirit was the first model of the SZ series, introduced by Rolls-Royce in 1980 as the first of a new generation of company models and built at Crewe by Rolls-Royce Motors. The Silver Spur was its long wheelbase version, produced from 1980 to 2000, and the first car to feature a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy. It carried over the Silver Shadow's basic design and 6.75 liter V8, and passed through Marks I to IV, the last without a series IV label. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 4 generations: the Mark I (1980 to 1989); the Mark II (1989 to 1993); the Mark III (1993 to 1995); the Mark IV (1995 to 1997).
