The Corniche is the two door luxury car that grew from the Mulliner Park Ward versions of the Silver Shadow, renamed in March 1971 and sold as a hardtop coupe until 1980 and as a convertible until 1995 and again from 1999 to 2002. It takes its name from a 1939 experimental prototype. It passed through five series, I to V, with a Bentley twin that became the Continental in 1984, and 30 years of production made it the image of the idle rich. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 5 generations: the Corniche I (1971 to 1986); the Corniche II (1986 to 1989); the Corniche III (1989 to 1992); the Corniche IV (1992 to 1995); the Corniche V (2000 to 2002).
