Renault Trafic E-Tech

The Renault Trafic E-Tech is a battery electric light commercial vehicle built by Renault and the fourth generation of the Renault Trafic. It is based on the dedicated electric platform of Renault Group known as the RGEV medium van platform and is made at the Sandouville plant in France. It belongs to a new family of electric commercial vehicles developed through Flexis, a company set up by Renault Group, Volvo Group and CMA CGM, alongside the Renault Goelette and the Renault Estafette. They share a skateboard-type architecture with the motor at the rear and the battery under the floor. The production version was presented in 2026, with the panel van due towards the end of the year and chassis-cab and crew-cab versions planned for 2027. The L1 body is 4.87 metres long, 1.90 wide and 1.89 high, and an L2 version is 5.27 metres long. The load space gives up to 5.8 cubic metres and about 1.3 tonnes of payload. A single rear motor makes 150 kilowatts, and the long-range 81 kilowatt-hour battery has a projected range above 470 kilometres on the WLTP cycle.
