The Renault Trafic is a light commercial van that Renault has produced since 1980. The first generation was sold from 1980 to 2001, first with a 1,397 cc petrol engine and later with a 2.1 litre diesel and larger petrol units, and a part-time four-wheel-drive diesel version was added at the end of 1984. It had a major facelift in May 1989 and a final one in 1995. Its chassis and cab were used by Winnebago Industries for the LeSharo motorhome from 1983, and the van was a popular base for budget campervan conversions. The Trafic has also been sold as the Fiat Talento, the Nissan NV300, the Nissan Primastar and the Mitsubishi Express, and until 2019 as the Opel and Vauxhall Vivaro. From early 2022 Renault Trucks has also marketed it as the Renault Trucks Trafic.
