The Renault Master III is the third generation of the Renault Master light commercial vehicle, produced between 10 April 2010 and 6 May 2024, replacing the Master II. Other makers sold their own versions: Nissan as the NV400 and the Interstar II, Opel and Vauxhall as the Movano B, and Renault Trucks as the Master III Red. The gross vehicle weight runs from 2.8 to 4.5 tonnes. On the 2.3 dCi engine the oil change interval rose to 40,000 km or two years and the timing belt gave way to a chain. The Master is front-wheel drive with a transverse engine or rear-wheel drive with a longitudinal engine, and the rear-drive van is monocoque, unlike the Master II. Four lengths and three heights give load volumes from 8 to 17 cubic metres. It has been sold and built in Brazil since 18 March 2013, had a first facelift on 29 April 2014 and, on 14 January 2017, was offered for the first time in an electric version, the Master ZE.
