Pontiac GTO (fifth generation, 2004 to 2006)

Automobiles

The fifth generation GTO, for the 2004 to 2006 model years, was a left hand drive version of the Holden Monaro, itself a coupe variant of the Holden Commodore, imported into the United States as a captive import for Pontiac and assembled by Holden at the Elizabeth plant. It was prompted by Bob Lutz and used the 5.7 liter LS1 V8 and later the 6.0 liter LS2. General Motors halted imports in September 2006. Its model years run from 2004 to 2006.
