The first Satellite appeared in 1965 as the top trim of Plymouth's B platform mid-size Belvedere line, above the Belvedere I and II, at first as a two door hardtop and a convertible. The 1966 car was redesigned and could be had with the 425 horsepower Street Hemi, and the 1967 car was a carryover with new trim, a new grille with dual headlights and two tone paint. A station wagon and a Sport Satellite trim were added later. Its model years run from 1965 to 1967.
