The Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera is a mid-size car sold by Oldsmobile from the 1982 to 1996 model years. As the replacement for the rear-wheel-drive Oldsmobile Cutlass, it marked the downsizing and transition of the mid-size Oldsmobile line to front-wheel drive, slotting between the Omega and the Cutlass Supreme. It shared the front-wheel-drive GM A platform with the Buick Century, Chevrolet Celebrity and Pontiac 6000. Initially sold as a two-door and four-door sedan, the line was expanded with the Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser five-door station wagon.
