The Ital is the medium sized car that the Austin Morris division of British Leyland, later Austin Rover, built from 1980 to 1984, essentially a major facelift of the Morris Marina that it succeeded, in a variety of body styles. It took its name from Giorgetto Giugiaro's Italdesign studio, which had been employed by BL to manage the re-engineering of the Marina. It was the last production car to wear the Morris badge, and the Austin Montego replaced it in 1984. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1980 to 1984).
