In 2014 Mitsubishi unveiled the fifth generation Triton, L200 and Strada, which went on sale in early 2015 in Asia Pacific and late 2015 in Europe and the Caribbean. Since 2015 the current generation L200 shares the same underpinnings as the newly rebadged Fiat Fullback intended for the European and Middle East markets. For the 2017 model year, Ram Trucks rebadged the Triton as the Ram 1200 for the Middle East market. Its model years run from 2015 to 2022.
