The Park Lane was a full size Mercury, introduced for the 1958 model year as the flagship line that took over from the Turnpike Cruiser, dropped after 1960 and revived for 1964 to 1968 before the Marquis replaced it in 1969. In its first form it shared a chassis with the Colony Park wagon and the Edsel Citation and Corsair. The Ford Parklane two door wagon of 1956 is a different car. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (1958 to 1960); the second generation (1964 to 1968).
