The sixth-generation Mazda Titan was launched in January 2007 for the Japanese market. It featured a newly designed body, Mazda's auto start-stop system, a new range of engines and lighter body panels. The target sales volume for the new truck was limited to 430 units a month. It followed the fifth generation of June 2004, which was an OEM-supplied Isuzu Elf, and the Titan Dash one-tonne truck of the fourth generation was discontinued in 2010. The article dates the sixth generation from 2007 to 2023, after which comes the seventh generation.
