Honda XR Series (1985 to 1999)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The second span of the XR series starts in 1985 with the XR100R and the XR600R, which replaced the XR500R and was used in Baja races, and includes the XRV650 Africa Twin predecessor of 1988 to 1989, the street-legal US XR250L from 1991 and the XR400R of 1996. Honda updated the engine of the XR250R, the mainstay of the XR range, in 1996 so that it made 19 hp. Wikipedia does not number XR generations, so this page groups model years by the dates the article documents. Each model year has its own page.
