Honda made the Orthia, a compact station wagon, only for sale in Japan, from 1996 to 2002. Based on the sixth generation Civic chassis, it was introduced in February 1996 as what Honda called a Sport Utility Wagon and initially sold at both Honda Verno and Honda Primo dealerships. The name orthia, a variation of the Greek word orithyia, comes from Artemis Orthia in Greek mythology. It was available with either front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the single generation (1996 to 2002 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
