Honda Monkey (Z50J to the final Z50)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

When the Z50J came in 1974 the Monkey had suspension at the rear as well as the front, and later models had wheels of 3.5 by 8 inches in place of the 3.5 by 5 inch wheels of the first Monkey bikes. In March 2017 Chiaki Kato, the president of Honda Motorcycle, announced the end of the Z50 series in August 2017 because of new and pending emission control regulations in Japan, with a 50th Anniversary Special Edition, limited to 500 units, as the last. Each model year has its own page.
