Honda built the MH02, an experimental business jet, with Mississippi State University, to research placement of the engines and composite construction. The prototype was completed in 1992 and first flew on 5 March 1993. It was never intended for production, but was the first all-composite light business jet to fly, with over 170 test flight hours by 1996. It had above-the-wing engine mounts, a T-tail and a forward-swept wing, and it was deregistered and exported to Japan in 1998. It was a single prototype, so the pages for it follow the years in which the article dates events. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into one generation: the prototype (1992 to 1998). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda. The Honda MH02 is a single prototype, so its generation page covers the one aircraft and its year pages follow the dated events of its life rather than production years.
