The third-generation Legend, chassis KA9, appeared on October 26, 1995, kept Honda's front wheel drive tradition, and enlarged the engine to 3.5 liters while power stayed at 215 PS. Its wheelbase and length compared to the Infiniti Q45 and the Lexus LS, and in Japan it continued to compete with the Toyota Crown, Mitsubishi Debonair, Mazda Luce and Nissan Cedric and Gloria. The Exclusive trim came back as the top version, with Euro as the name of the standard grade. The third generation was offered as a sedan only. Each model year has its own page.
