Honda Legend (first generation)

Automobiles

Honda introduced the first-generation Legend, chassis KA1 to KA6, to Japan on October 22, 1985, and it was the first production Honda anywhere to be sold solely with a SOHC V6 engine. Its introduction coincided with the launch of the new Honda Clio dealership sales channel in Japan, and it resulted from Project XX, a joint venture with Britain's Austin Rover Group. It was front wheel drive, with a double wishbone front suspension, and offered many Honda firsts such as a driver side airbag and traction control. The UK built only 4,409 of them, between 1986 and 1988. A coupe followed on February 6, 1987. Each model year has its own page.
