Honda moved the CBX into the sport touring category in 1981 with the CBX-B, whose engine was detuned to 98 hp, and fitted a fairing, optional panniers, Pro-Link monoshock suspension at the rear and 39 mm front forks adjustable with air, on a stronger frame, with ventilated dual front brake discs because of the extra weight. The 1982 CBX-C was little different from the 1981 model, with only a few changes to paint and trim. Each model year has its own page.
