1981 Honda CBX

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda moved the CBX into the sport touring category in 1981 with the CBX-B, whose engine was detuned to 98 hp, and added Pro-Link monoshock rear suspension, air adjustable 39 mm front forks, a fairing and optional panniers, on a stronger frame. Ventilated dual front brake discs were fitted to the CBX because of the added weight. This page belongs to the Honda CBX (sport touring CBX-B), 1981 to 1982 model years; the generation page and the Honda CBX model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
