The CBR900RR, also known as the Fireblade in some countries, is a sport bike of 900 cc in the CBR series that Honda introduced in 1992. It was the first of a series of large-displacement Honda models to carry the RR suffix, and its development was led by Tadao Baba. It set a precedent for light weight in the superbike class, being much lighter than other large-displacement bikes of its time, and grew from 893 cc to 954 cc through six generations before the CBR1000RR replaced it in 2004. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 4 generations: the 893 cc SC28 (1992 to 1995 model years); the 919 cc SC33 (1996 to 1999 model years); the 929 cc SC44 (2000 to 2001 model years); the 954 cc SC50 (2002 to 2003 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
