Holden Sandman

Automobiles

The Holden Sandman is a sports coupe utility and panel van produced by Holden from 1974 to 1980. It featured elements from the Monaro GTS, including the gauge cluster, steering wheel, bucket seats and a fully furnished interior, along with vinyl stripes and wheels. The guards carried a Sandman logo painted on the B pillars, and Sandman was written on the tailgate. It used a four-speed manual transmission or an optional three-speed Tri-Matic automatic, both controlled through a console-mounted gear stick, and the HQ and HJ Sandman models were available with a range of engines.
