The Ford Model Y was a small car built from 1932 to 1937 by Ford in Britain, France and Germany, the first Ford designed specifically for markets outside the United States, replacing the Model A in Europe. In England it is sometimes remembered as the Ford Eight, after its fiscal horsepower rating, and in Germany it was the Ford Koln. It was sold as the two door Tudor and the four door Fordor and about 175,000 were built worldwide. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1932 to 1937).
