The Ford Model N was introduced in 1906 as the successor to the Models A and C, the company's inexpensive entry level line, built at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant. It diverged from its predecessors as a front engine car with a four cylinder engine, and was the first American car to use vanadium steel. About 7,000 cars were made before production ended in 1908. The Model R and the Model S were higher trim versions. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1906 to 1908).
