The Model 48 was Ford's main V8 car of the mid 1930s, an update of the Model 40A introduced in 1935 and refreshed in 1936, and it led to the 1937 Ford before a thorough redesign for 1941. Its modern Art Deco look and price helped Ford beat Chevrolet for the sales crown in 1935, with 820,000 sold. It had a 221 cubic inch flathead V8 and ten body styles. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1935 to 1936).
