The Presso used the E platform of Mazda and was sold with the first three grades Hi-X, Fi-X and Fi-X SV. The compact body and the V6 engine drew attention when it was launched, and the car looked like a smaller RX-7. A 1.5 liter engine came in 1993 and the driver airbag in 1996. It ended in 1998. It was a hatchback coupe made by Mazda and sold in Japan with a V6 or four cylinder engine. Its model years run from 1991 to 1998.
