Daihatsu Gran Max

Automobiles

The Daihatsu Gran Max is a series of light commercial vehicles, vans and pickup trucks, produced and sold by the Japanese automaker Daihatsu since late 2007. Toyota has rebadged and marketed it as the LiteAce and TownAce since 2008, and Mazda sold it in Japan as the Bongo. Daihatsu developed it under chief engineer Masaharu Tezeni, and it was launched in Indonesia on 6 November 2007 as the replacement of the Zebra Espass pickup and commercial van. It has a semi-cab layout like the tenth generation Hijet Cargo and is wider and longer than that kei car-sized vehicle. It is built in Indonesia by Astra Daihatsu Motor with 1,298 cc, 1,495 cc and, since 2020, 1,496 cc petrol engines.
