The Daihatsu Compagno is an automobile that Daihatsu produced in Japan from 1963 to 1970. The name comes from the Italian word for partner. It was designed to be offered in several body styles and was introduced before Toyota acquired Daihatsu in 1967. The first model introduced, in April 1963, was the Compagno Light Van, a light commercial vehicle with code F30V, and two months later the Compagno Wagon, code F30, followed as a pricier and more comfortable passenger-oriented version. From 1963 to 1970 a total of 120,000 Compagnos were produced.
