The Daihatsu Ayla is a city car designed by Daihatsu and manufactured by Astra Daihatsu Motor in Indonesia since 2013, developed mainly for emerging markets. Toyota, Daihatsu's parent company since 2016, has also sold it as the Toyota Agya in Indonesia, South Africa, Tunisia and the Americas except North America, and as the Toyota Wigo in the Philippines, where Toyota Motor Philippines introduced it in 2014. The Indonesian government's ratification of the LCGC low-cost green car programme was delayed by a year, which also delayed mass production and the market launch until September 2013. The first facelift Wigo was launched on 10 May 2017 and the second on 15 June 2020 in the Philippines.
