CMC Veryca

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The CMC Veryca is a cabover microvan and mini truck that China Motor Corporation has built and sold in Taiwan since 2000. It began as long wheelbase versions of the fourth generation Mitsubishi Minicab, sold as the Town Box Wide, and because it was not held to Japan's kei class rules its engines soon grew larger than the Japanese ones. The name followed the CMC Minicab of 1978, which became the Varica in 1985. The Veryca replaced the second generation Varica in 2000 on the sixth generation Minicab Town Box Wide, with a body restyled by CMC's own research and design centre. Variants include the Veryca Magic of 2001, aimed at passenger buyers, the electric e-Veryca, called the E300 from 2023, and the Soueast Veryca, a rebadged version for the Chinese market that later became the Soueast Xiwang C1. CMC introduced its successor, the J Space, in 2024.
