The CMC Varica was a light commercial van and truck built in Taiwan by China Motor Corporation, known in Chinese as Weili. It developed from the second generation CMC Minivan of 1985, a rebadged fourth generation Mitsubishi Minicab, and was redesigned by Yulon and introduced in 1988 for the 1989 model year, when the Chinese name changed to Weili. The 1989 car had a 1,061 cc 4G82 engine producing 58 PS, an overall length of up to 3,645 millimetres, a wheelbase lengthened to 1,475 millimetres just ahead of the rear axle, and a top speed of 115 kilometres per hour. A facelift in 1993 updated the headlamps, and a longer, more rounded nose with a 1.2 litre engine arrived in 1998, with sales continuing until 2007. In 2000 the CMC Veryca, built on the sixth generation Minicab Town Box Wide, replaced it. India also built a diesel Varica for Premier from 2004.
