The Vega was a subcompact that Chevrolet made from 1970 until 1977 in hatchback, notchback, wagon and sedan delivery bodies, powered by an all aluminum four cylinder engine, named Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 1971 and later known for engineering, rust and engine durability problems. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the Vega, 1971 to 1977 (1971 to 1977). Its generation and model year pages state who owned the vehicle line and who built it in each year, with the source for each statement.
