The Escalade moved to the new GMT900 platform for the 2007 model year, along with all of its companion models, the Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche, Yukon, Yukon XL and Yukon Denali, which were launched simultaneously. The regular Escalade was again joined by the stretched ESV version and the EXT sport utility truck. Its model years run from 2007 to 2014. The hybrid and the Silao built EXT pickup were part of this generation.
