The Baojun Yep is a battery electric crossover city car manufactured by SAIC-GM-Wuling since 2023 under the Baojun brand. The Chinese name means joy also or happy together, and is also a homophone of the word for off-road. In February 2023 the Chinese joint venture introduced the new small city car, a combination of a three-door hatchback with features reminiscent of large off-road vehicles such as the Suzuki Jimny. Despite its small external dimensions, the Yep is a four-seater with a length of less than 3.4 meters, with an angular silhouette, black bumpers and an imitation spare wheel on the trunk lid.
