The AMC Spirit was a subcompact car that American Motors Corporation sold from 1979 through 1983, replacing the AMC Gremlin. It was available in two body styles, both two door hatchbacks, the Spirit Kammback and the sedan or liftback, and its bodywork also underlay the four wheel drive Eagle SX/4 and Eagle Kammback. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1979 to 1983).
