The AMC Hornet was a compact car that American Motors Corporation made from 1970 through 1977 in two and four door sedan, station wagon and hatchback coupe forms. It replaced the Rambler American, ended the Rambler marque in the United States and Canadian markets, and its platform went on to underpin the Gremlin, the Concord, the Spirit and the four wheel drive Eagle. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1970 to 1977).
