Alvis TE 21

Automobiles

The Alvis Three Litre Series III, or TE 21, was a luxury sports saloon or drophead coupe made by Alvis between 1963 and 1966, with a body built by Mulliner Park Ward. It was an update of the 1958 TD 21, using a modified version of the Graber-styled TC 108G body, now with twin headlights mounted one above the other, a one-piece curved windscreen and little bright side trim. The 2,993 cc engine received a modified head and manifold for 130 bhp and a top speed of 107 mph, with a choice of automatic or ZF five-speed gearbox, disc brakes on all wheels and recirculating-ball steering with optional power assistance from late 1964. The TF 21 replaced it in 1966.
