The Acura ARX-05 is a Daytona Prototype International sports prototype developed by Honda Performance Development with Oreca and based on the Oreca 07 LMP2 chassis. It was used from 2018 to 2022 in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, first in a factory effort with Team Penske and then by customer teams Wayne Taylor Racing and Meyer Shank Racing, and it was a regular fixture in championship fights and winner of a number of races. It marked Acura's return to North American prototype racing after the difficult end of the earlier ARX-03 and ARX-04b programs. When the DPi rules were replaced by the Le Mans Daytona h rules in 2023 the ARX-05 was retired and replaced by the ARX-06.
