Abarth T140

Automobiles

The Abarth T-140 was a stillborn conceptual 6 litre, mid-engined Group 6 prototype sports car designed by Abarth in the late 1960s and never produced. It was abandoned because of a rule change for 1967 imposed by the CSI, the sporting authority of the time, which limited the capacity of the large Group 6 sport prototypes to 3 litres in an attempt to curtail and control their growing speed and power. The English Wikipedia article on the car is a single short paragraph, so the design stayed on paper and no build year, power figure or number made is recorded in it.
