On June 16, 2026, Chevrolet unveiled the next generation Silverado 1500, and the GMC Sierra 1500 counterpart was unveiled later, on June 25, 2026. Sales to customers will commence around late 2026, while the fourth generation T1XX truck introduced for 2019 remained on sale until then. The Silverado is the successor to the long running Chevrolet C/K model line. The fourth generation GMT T1XX truck remained on sale until the new truck went to customers.
