For 2024 the Compass became the entry level model for Jeep in North America, following the withdrawal of the Renegade in that market outside Latin America and the global discontinuation of the Cherokee, though the upcoming all electric Jeep Recon was expected to slot below the Compass. The Renegade and, in some markets, the Jeep Avenger continued to serve as Jeep's entry level models below the Compass globally.
