In 2024 the fourth generation Escape continued in the refreshed form introduced for 2023, with its base turbocharged three cylinder engine, a 2.0 liter turbo, and the hybrid and plug in hybrid powered by a 2.5 liter Atkinson cycle four with two electric motors. It was built at Louisville, and sold in Australia as the ZH series with styling from the European Kuga, sourced from Spain and Germany. The Escape was sized between the EcoSport and the Edge in Ford's SUV lineup.
