The touchscreen Ford Sync infotainment system was dropped from the E Series, whose only factory audio system was a basic single DIN unit with an AM and FM radio, Bluetooth and a USB input. The 2024 E Series was a cutaway chassis for upfitters with a 7.3 litre V8. The E Series was Ford's full size van, sold as the Econoline and Club Wagon and as a cutaway chassis. It was the best selling full size van in the United States from 1980 until the Transit replaced the vans in 2014.
