2024 BMW iX

Automobiles

The iX in 2024 had a default regenerative braking mode which used adaptive recuperation, with the help of GPS data and sensors to adjust the regeneration to be more aggressive in urban traffic and less so on open roads, where it allows coasting. The electric flagship crossover was in its third year, built at Dingolfing alongside combustion cars thanks to its compatible chassis componentry. The iX resembled the X5 in length and width but had a lower roof like the X6.
