The Indonesian built Raize was unveiled on 28 April 2021 together with the Rocky, with Daihatsu investing Rp 1.7 trillion in tooling at its Karawang assembly plant. In November 2021 the 1KR-VET engine option for front wheel drive Japanese cars was replaced by the WA-VE unit and a hybrid variant was added. It was model year 2 of 3 in the Toyota Raize (A200 and A250 series), 2019 to present, coming after the 2020 model year and before the 2022 model year.
