The CX-4 of 2021 was in its sixth year on sale in China, a compact crossover SUV with the facelifted look and a choice of 2.0 liter or 2.5 liter Skyactiv engines, the larger with all wheel drive and a six speed automatic. It was still manufactured by FAW Mazda, which Changan Mazda would take over in 2023. The CX-4 is a compact crossover SUV produced and sold exclusively in China. The CX-4 was positioned above the Mazda CX-3.
